First, let's put the elephant on the table. Yes, school started in September. So, why are we having the first day in October? Well, we like to be fashionably late, that's why. Jokes! Pre-primary is a voluntary program and we could make up our indecisive minds! The program also doesn't have an after-school program, which makes it tough for working families. But, we found a wonderful after-school spot, with a few of Piper's friends, that ultimately helped us take the plunge. It sure is hard to decide if the time is right to take the school leap when you are still wondering how your baby isn't a baby anymore. To get ready for the big day we got Piper some state of the art Bento Box lunch containers, a new lunch box, some fresh play clothes, and the coolest labels we ever saw, from lovely labels. Those labels have been a blessing since Piper leaves her things everywherrreeeeee. We highly recommend all of these essentials! But, it's only been a week, so this is hardly an expert opinion at this point! The verdict, Piper loved her first day. She had so much fun, made a special craft, and ate most of her lunch. What more could we ask for? Now, time for the piece de resistance, Piper's school pics!
